Baby Clothes Overstock and Clearance Items - The Story

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Retail clothing storeowners inevitably face the same situation year after year - a surplus of last season’s styles in some form or another. This is good news for the consumer, as prices on these items are typically slashed well below retail in order to make room for new products. it may make a positive impact on your bottom line by allowing your business a tax deduction, making a sizeable donation won’t only benefit the many people touched by the organization receiving your donation at the end of the year. If you’re considering making a sizeable donation, you may first would like to contact your tax advisor to discuss how the donation would impact your tax scenario.

It’s advisable to spend some time researching potential organizations before donating. There are seemingly countless organizations out there that are willing to take donations of clothing and accessory items. When choosing an organization, be sure most importantly that the organization is not-for-profit, as this ensures the potential tax-benefit of donating. It’s worthwhile to research smaller local organizations, but it perhaps easier to locate large national organizations. To meet their demands at the same level as larger organizations, These local organizations often don’t receive the level of exposure. It’s important to obtain a single point-of-contact within the organization, once you’ve selected a non-profit organization to receive your donation. It’s a good idea to provide an itemized list of the donation, including your point-of-contact at the time of the donation, wholesale value. This list won’t only help to document inventory in your records, it will also be a helpful tool for the charity to reference while incorporating the donation items into their existing product supply. Successively, ask that they provide you with a “letter of receipt”, acknowledging and referencing the value of the donation.

Designer Jeans Are Not Just For The Beckhams Of This World

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

There’s nothing new about designer jeans; Calvin “nothing comes between me and mine” Klein has been selling his for over 20 years. Designer jeans are the best but most people would rather shop till you drop and pay $30 for copies in the form of cheap designer jeans that look identical and fit the same.

As a fashion basic designer jeans can not be beaten and compliment your curves nicely. Designer jeans are so versatile you can wear them for almost any occassion, dress them up with a jacket or T shirt, your options are limited only by your imagination.

These Jeans are designed to make the female body look good, which is OK by me, but that doesnt mean they don’t have the same effect for guys, they make anyone look and feel better. They typically feature prominently visible designer names or logos on the back pockets and on the right front coin-pocket. They may be a status symbol but the labels you choose can come at a premium. Joe, Ralph, and Avi the Nakash brothers were the ones who introduced the style of designer jeans with the launch of their brand of Jordache jeans in 1978.

Designer jeans are high quality clothing fashion in every detail down to the last stitch and they are made to last. If you are after a bargain then second hand, as long as they are in good condition, can be found at a lower price. Have a good search around and you can find some great deals online.

We are all influenced in this day and age by the media and advertising and we are continually bombarded with images of celebrities in Hudson designer jeans or Beckhams jeans looking like gods, so it’s no surprise we want to own a pair for ourselves. Designer jeans give you that feeling of affluence and class.

In most cases you get what you pay for in life and although the price tag can be high, I for one think designer jeans are worth it. A lot of the fake designer jeans are very good quality these days and from a distance it would be near impossible to say if they were original or not, but there is no comparison when compared close up. Every single aspect from design to stitching and the cut of the cloth is top quality, and with all the advertising hype and a famous name tag it is no wonder the price can be pretty high.
